Management for heavy industry
SITE works continuously with management in a project to improve safety with fall protection systems and attachment points around traverses in Kiruna.
3D model created from 3D-scanned real environment around the sleepers was an important tool for all new construction and facilitates communication between the parties.
Management of SITE
Niclas Vestman at SITE leads the project, improves constructions and safety. It includes both work with the traverses on site but also construction, routines and management from the office in Luleå.
The work has increased in scope since 2018 and we are given increased confidence to update security at more locations in Kiruna.

A collaboration with NUAB Fall protection
NUAB Fallskydd has cutting-edge knowledge regarding fall protection and rescue plans. They are also certified for installations of fixed fall protection systems and supply these products in the project.
Service-friendly platforms for industry
In order for access and maintenance of cranes and traverses to take place in an efficient and safe manner, we have specially designed platforms without railings but with a fall protection device instead.
Everything based on the maintenance staff’s needs analysis and in accordance with current laws and standards.
