A total station measures angles and distances with high precision to provide important coordinates.
Used for construction projects and land surveying
Total stations are used when measurement with high precision is desired. Common areas of use are in construction projects, facilities or land surveying, but can also be used to:
- Determine coordinates for boundaries, buildings and earthworks
- Investigate mines and tunnels
- Measure open pits and roads
- Collect data for bridges and similar structures
